How To Keep it Real. This item is unavailable. How To Keep it Real

Has regret over past denial of God kept you from the purpose he has for your life? The good news is God does not want you to stay sidelined by past mistakes. By comparing the story of Peter's denial to my own, this book shows how one tough conversation with Jesus could be the thing that moves you forward to radically living for him.

In this book, readers will be introduced to three things.

• Possible reasons for denial of God through our words and actions
• What a life following Jesus looks like
• How to step into God's purpose for your life through an encounter with Jesus

Endorsement:

As a teacher, Drew Hall understands better than most, the difficulties teens, and young adults face in today's society. Few people understand how to instruct the next generation to "keep it real" better than Drew. In this book, he brilliantly relates the story of Peter's failure, restoration, and renewed resolve to show the next generation that they can move beyond mistakes, live for Jesus, and "keep it real" so that others can see Christ through them. Drew pulls no punches as he thoughtfully writes of the sticky subjects facing today's teens offering biblical principles to help them move forward with faithfulness and commitment in their walk with Christ. I recommend this book as a resource for parents, teachers, and youth pastors as they seek to help teens navigate this current cultural moment.

How To Keep It Real is the spiritual pulse check Gen Z and Gen Alpha need. America's youth is inundated with filtered falsehood of what is deemed "good." Hall's work brings this generation back to the question of "what does God say is good? And when God's goodness is not 'cool,' how do I walk in faith anyway?" While the presentation varies from generation to generation, this book will show the struggles of today's young believers do not differ from those who walked with Jesus himself, affirming that His grace is, in fact, sufficient. To those who might be leading young believers, let this book grow your curiosity for their questions. We just might have a nation of Jacobs on our hands who are bold enough to wrestle for a blessing.
