Following the death of her grandmother, she has to move away from her hometown. Being late for an interview, her last hope for work in the area throws her mind into turmoil.
Struggling to find her way in life and the pain of a hysterectomy at a young age, leaving her without any children takes Katie on a rollercoaster ride with her emotions from a shy, stressed, anxious and depressed to a bubbly, fun-loving, daring, confident young woman.
Katie’s friends all support her through her tough times, often going through difficult times themselves.
One day, on her way to work, Katie finds herself surrounded by butterflies. What are they trying to tell her?
Breaking out of her shell, she embarks on another life-changing journey of self-discovery by stepping out of her comfort zone and travelling abroad.
