Kate, a young sea turtle, and Cecil, her fast-swimming octopus friend, spend their days exploring the ocean they call home. But when humans leave behind trash and destruction, Cecil is convinced they are nothing but trouble. Kate isn't so sure.
Then one moment changes everything.
After a dangerous encounter with a speeding boat, Kate is taken far from the ocean--and into the hands of humans. But instead of harm, she finds something else: Care. Healing. Kindness.
As Kate recovers, she begins to see a different side of the world above the waves. And when she finally returns home, she carries a powerful truth. Not all humans destroy. Some protect. Some heal.
Just Kate--One World is a beautifully illustrated story about friendship, second chances, and the shared responsibility we all have to protect our planet.
Perfect for young readers, parents, and educators, this story introduces:
Environmental awareness
Ocean conservation
Empathy and compassion
Respect for wildlife
Because this is not just Kate's world...it's all of ours.
