Add to basketNo stated date c1954. Reprint. 192pp. Edgar Wallace (1875-1932) was a prolific British writer of sensational detective, gangster, adventure and sci-fi novels, plays and stories. We believe that Kate Plus Ten was first published in 1919, although we have seen some sources state 1917. It tells of the attempts to capture eighteen-year-old criminal mastermind Kate Wasthanger, a colonel's niece and the strategist behind several increasingly successful swindles. These include stealing a complete and valuable railway goods train. The book is bound in the original brown cloth covered boards with titling on the spine. The case of the book is in very good condition with light bumping to the spine ends. The contents are tight and clean with partial browning to the free endpapers and a name has been written in black marker ink on the front fixed endpaper. Some notes have been written in pen to the rear free endpaper The unclipped dustwrapper has some shelf wear with light soiling and bumping with small nicks to the spine ends and browning is visible on the reverse of the wrapper.
