This beautiful 9.75 x 12.5, 52 page book is the 1919 printing by the widely recognized John Henry Nash of San Francisco for the Book Club of California. This copy is number 440 of 500 copies, as issued. This copy is in near fine condition with just a bit of shelf wear to all four corners. Beyond that there is little to find as to condition issues. The marbled boards are still in beautiful condition as is the vellum spine strip. The gilt lettering on the spine is still clean and bright. The interior text is in fine condition with a previous owners' inked name on the front pastedown. Beyond that the book is another beautiful example of the San Francisco book talents of John Henry Nash and the Grabhorn Press. The paper used is of the highest quality and the deckled edges here show no wear or crimping. All in all a wonderful printing of this very old text. 52 pages. Seller Inventory # 1505-428D
