Neuware - Kasper is a big, fluffy, white dog who spent his early years in the city, dreaming of grass and critters and wide-open spaces. When he finally finds his forever home in an Appalachian holler, he meets Scout, a playful black-and-white pup from next door. But Scout goes back home, and Kasper is left to wonder: will his new friend ever return Told through real photographs of two real dogs across a full year of seasons, Kasper Makes a New Best Friend follows Kasper and Scout from autumn leaves to winter snow, through the spring meadow, the labyrinth, the pond and a special trail called Penelope's Path, all the way to the top of the big hill. Along the way, they learn what best friends do: sometimes you lead, and sometimes you wait.A warm story about friendship, patience and belonging for readers ages 5 to 8.
