"Kafka's Theatre" is interested in the relationship between the author's poetic proceedings and theatrical art forms and raises the question of Kafka's reception by the theatre as well as the timeliness of his literary aesthetics for the theatre. Above all, the contributions of this anthology stand for the fact that the research interested in "Kafkas Theater" requires both expertises: the philological as well as the theatre scientific. Because in this special form of cooperation – even this should (still) exist – Kafka research is basically only at the beginning.
