Circa 1907. Almost very good condition with no wrapper. Stories of the Italian painters with 24 drawings (16 in colour) by Mary Steedman of pictures by the great artists. Black covers with elaborate gilt decorations to front cover and spine. Pictorial onlay to front cover. Gold coloured endpapers. Top edge gilt, others untrimmed. 175 pages. Bumping and wear to spine and corners. A few chips to spine. What looks like small bookworm holes to edges of spine. Inscription in ink to verso of front endpaper. Foxing throughout. All plates present. Packaged with care and promptly dispatched!
