"KNEELING ON BROKEN GLASS: Chronicles of the Ezekiel Riders " is a compelling narrative that follows a group of chaplains known as the Ezekiel Riders on a mission-driven journey across diverse landscapes and communities, guided by their unwavering faith and the ancient sound of the Shofar. Rooted in the teachings of Christianity and inspired by the Great Commission, the book delves into the transformative power of service, prayer, and the Holy Spirit.
The story begins with the founder of the group, William Hodge, who, after a divine encounter, dedicates his life to spreading the message of hope, restoration, and divine protection. Alongside Joseph Palumbo, a seasoned street minister with a heart for the downtrodden, they embark on a series of missions that challenge them physically, spiritually, and emotionally.
Through their travels, the Ezekiel Riders engage in street ministry, providing not just spiritual guidance but also tangible support to those in need, including food, clothing, and companionship. The Shofar, an ancient musical horn, becomes their symbol and tool, believed to carry the voice of God, breaking barriers, healing wounds, and reclaiming territories lost to darkness.
As they navigate various challenges, including skepticism, physical dangers, and spiritual warfare, the Riders' unshakeable faith and their reliance on the guidance of the Holy Spirit are tested. The book vividly recounts miraculous occurrences, heartfelt conversions, and moments of profound revelation that affirm their mission.
"Ezekiel Riders" is not just a story of a journey; it is an invitation to witness the power of faith in action. It challenges readers to reflect on their own beliefs, the extent of their faith, and the impact of serving others selflessly. Through their example, the Riders illuminate the path to spiritual fulfillment and the importance of answering the call to serve.
The book concludes with the Ezekiel Riders strengthening their global chaplaincy network, inspiring others to join their cause, and spreading the gospel far beyond their initial imaginations. "Ezekiel Riders" is a testament to the belief that even in a modern world, ancient faith and acts of kindness can effect monumental change in individuals and communities alike.
In its essence, "KNEELING ON BROKEN GLASS: Chronicles of the Ezekiel Riders " is a story of hope, redemption, and the relentless pursuit of fulfilling one's divine purpose, making it a must-read for anyone seeking to deepen their faith or understand the impact of living a life devoted to serving others through the love of Christ.
