Folio hardback, three-quarter bound in green calf, gilt, with green clothbound boards. 152pp., the first 6 having been hole-punched before being bound. First 43 pages have faint vertical crease to centre of pages. A clean copy with no previous owners' markings or inscriptions. Some rubbing and small loss of leather to edges of spine and corners. The Chaucer Bookshop is situated in a beautiful 18th Century building inside Canterbury's city walls. The building was originally one house but was established as a bookshop in 1956. The adjoining property was also later acquired and the bookshop greatly extended. Amongst the wide range of books (on 2 floors) you will find art, architecture, history, English literature, topography, travel, food and wine, railways and many more. We have a variety of original prints and maps for sale and a selection of modern First Editions and fine bindings. We also stock a comprehensive range of Fine Art greetings cards and wrapping paper.
