1880 in Riga als Sohn eines Gutsbesitzers geboren, studiert Manfred Kyber Psychologie und Naturphilosophie in Leipzig. 1902 erscheint sein erster Gedichtband. In Berlin arbeitet er als Verlagslektor und schreibt Lieder f�r das Kabarett. 1911 lernt er Rudolf Steiner kennen und schlie�t sich dessen anthroposophischer Bewegung an. 1919 zieht er nach Stuttgart und beginnt Vortr�ge �ber Okkultismus zu halten. Seit seinem Umzug nach L�wenstein 1922 ergreift er leidenschaftlich Partei f�r den Tierschutz. Am 10. M�rz 1933 stirbt Manfred Kyber in L�wenstein und wird neben der als �Seherin von Prevorst� bekannt gewordenen Friederike Hauffe beigesetzt.
