[Author], [Publisher]. Author: Molly Hatch Format: Paperback Number of Pages: 92 This next offering in the Journey in Color coloring book series features outlines inspired by Scandinavian art and textiles, each printed in both black and vibrant neon red inks. Each of the 40 different designs prints single-sided so there is no risk of showthrough for those who are coloring with markers or pens, and the lay-flat binding makes it easy to color in areas close to the margins. With eye-catching metallic foil on the cover and tactile uncoated pages, this book offers a coloring experience as beautiful as it is relaxing. Bright red inks distinguish this coloring book in this crowded category. Coloring in these pretty pages is an aesthetic catharsis-easy and meditative. It's art therapy for the creatively inclined woman who may be too intimidated to draw, but wants to unwind with crayons or colored pencils. And, while it promises stress relief, the elegant package makes for a beautiful gift, too. This series is the perfect girlfriend gift for women of any age, and has potential to break out beyond the art supply channel and grow into a successful series across the specialty, trade, and mass markets. …
