XXII 356 pages, TEG, large 8vo., coloured title and 22 coloured plates after H Alken, 9 etched plates by Phiz + illus in text, bound in contemporary 1/2 dark red morroco, cloth sides, gilt ruled spine compartments with motifs of horseshoes and snaffle bit. An attractive copy using both the uncoloured plate from the 1st edition and the colour plates of later editions, includes a chapter on shooting in Surrey.
