Comedy isn’t just about laughs — it’s about perspective.
In This Isn’t a Joke, comedian and educator Nick Cutelli pulls back the curtain on what stand-up comedy really is: one of the most honest and impactful forms of social commentary we have.

-
Build a unique comedic voice grounded in personal truth
-
Write structured material using the Setup–Punchline–Justify method

Use details, tags, and transitions to develop longer, themed routines
-
Own the stage even when the laughs don’t come
