Soft cover. Condition: As New. This is an unopened copy of Johnston's Clan Map of the Scottish Highlands, a pictorial map displaying the spheres of influence of the highland clans. It includes the separate regions' tartan patterns, colour-colded clan names, historical land boundaries, chiefs' arms, and illustrations of historical figures and traditional highland dress. The Johnstons, who were notable cartographers, began publishing it in 1873 and it was periodically republished into the 1960s. This is the 1956 printing. It has never been opened and I didn't want to open it completely, so photos 2 and 3 are from an online source. The rest are mine. The first image is a scan. Seller Inventory # ABE-1767550531416
