This short book is for the sonographer who is either working in pain, or simply wants to prevent getting a musculoskeletal injury. It contains practical, time efficient exercises that target the most commonly stressed-out tissues of a sonographer’s body – aiming to make them much more resistant to injury, as well as helping to treat any existing pain issues in these areas.
Doing these exercises will make a sonographer stronger and more flexible, which will directly translate into less pain and more resistance to injury. Emphasis is on the thumb, wrist, elbow, shoulder, neck and low back.
