Paperback. A book that highlights significant world events over fifty years, this "Joggin' Your Noggin" aims to bring entertainment and mental stimulation to readers. Reflecting on the past can be a source of joy, not only for those with dementia, but for many others, especially as they approach their "golden years." Milestones include historical, technological, scientific and cultural happenings related to inventions, politics, songs, famous musicians, TV/movie stars, food, fashion and more. In some instances, seniors will read the book independently. Since each description ends with a blank, the reader is given a chance to "jog" their "noggin" and identify the missing word. Straightforward answers are conveniently provided on the reverse of each page. But the more important benefit is simply to think back and arouse "warm and fuzzy" feelings. Connecting an event to a memorable personal experience may evoke positive emotions. The book offers countless opportunities to reflect, reminisce, and hopefully recreate moments of joy. Seniors may also enjoy large-group discussions of historical milestones and sharing fond memories. Activities Directors in senior centers, assisted living facilities or nursing homes may find "Joggin" a useful resource when creating entertaining games. This item is printed on demand. Shipping may be from our UK warehouse or from our Australian or US warehouses, depending on stock availability. …
