Jock of The Bushveld. Written by Sir Percy Fitzpatrick and illustrated by E. Caldwell. Published by Longmans, Green and Co in 1957. Size: 6 x 9 inches. Page number: 475. Hardcover. Reddish-brown cloth cover with gilt lettering. The jacket shows a picture of the dog Jock , the spine an image of an antelope's head. Black and white images within decorate every page. Condition of book: Near Fine. The cover is clean and very little rubbed. The pages are clean and un-thumbed. There is a very slight shadow of foxing on the end paper and end block. Condition of dust jacket: Very Good. The dust jacket is a little worn along the top and bottom edge and at the creases. There is a very small amount of water damage on the back cover and a short closed tear, 1/4 inch long, along the top edge. A heavy book - postage outside the UK may be more than stated.
