Item description from seller

10" x 7" (landscape format), 122pp incl. front matter. Glued signatures in printed linen finish card stock cover. Cover is marred by a pair of rings where long ago a drink was rested, and there is a crease down the length of the front cover about 1-1/2" from fore edge. Cover is additionally mildly age toned, but is bright and unfaded, with minimal shelf and edge wear. Rubber stamp of previous owner (Canadian Book Information Centre in Vancouver, BC) on contents page, otherwise pages are clean and unmarked.

Store description

Canada's oldest independent bookstore, the People's Co-operative Bookstore Association was formed in 1945 by a broad coalition of Vancouver's progressive movements, from trade unionists and Marxists to social democrats and Christian social justice activists. Owned and operated by its member-shareholders, it is a registered co-op operating under the Co-operative Associations Act of British Columbia. Anyone can join. Since 1983, the People's Co-op Bookstore has been located at 1391 Commercial, in the heart of Commercial Drive. Open 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. seven days a week, the People's Co-op offers a selection of 20,000 new and used books at its brick and mortar location, with a selection of specialized and uncommon books listed on our Abebooks account.
