This book will walk you through the most common mistakes made when applying for a job. This could be resume mistakes or how you answer the questionnaire on the application. You want to make sure that you get the interview so you can shine.
Then we will look at mistakes made before you go into your interview. This means you have impressed them with your application, and you have received the call for an interview. Now comes the time for you to get ready for the actual interview. This will include how you dress and how you prepare for the interview.
Then we will walk through some of the common mistakes made during the interview. These are probably the most important things to prepare for. You will learn that talking badly about your previous employer, no matter how bad he or she was, is a huge no-no, among other things.
To wrap things up, we will look at examples of good and bad interviews so you can start to see what you should and should not do. If you are experienced in interviews, you may start noticing things that you have been doing that has cost you the job that you wanted.
Lastly, to make sure that you are always prepared for a job interview, you will find a job interview checklist at the end of the book. This will help you make sure you have done everything possible to make the best first impression.
By following the tips and ideas found within this book, you can improve your odds of landing your next job and impressing the interview panel. This book will help you to become a success.
