Integral 4 contains: 10 - The Witches (2000) On behalf of Gilles de Rais, Jhen and Father Blanchet travel to Sions in the Valais to feed the Konnetabel a young woman suspected of witchcraft, who is supposed to go to hand at him in alchemy. But then the inquisitor Ulric de Torrenté emerges, and Jhen must offer up all his wisdom and also his charm to put himself and his companions out of danger. 11 - The Serenissima (2009) Jhen is in Milan, which is at war with Venice when the order of the Marshal of France befalls him to search for a mysterious manuscript to be located in the city of the Doges. With the help of the Condottiere Francesco Sforza, he manages to establish contact with the highest circles of the Serenissima, but only the wife of the Doge can open the dangerous path to the goal. 12 - The Grand Duke of the West (2011) From Venice, Jhen travels to Bruges, where he visits a mysterious magician to decipher the manuscript from Venice, and makes the acquaintance of the Duke of Burgundy, Philip II. He commissions him to work at the collegiate church in Brussels, which is not harmless. Because the duke is also interested in the magician, as he harbors close contact with one of his mistresses. Travel Band Brussels (2011) From the origins of the first settlement in the Valley of the Senne to the 19th century in this historic European city, Jacques Martin and his co-authors span an interesting and richly illustrated arch, which is especially dedicated to the Middle Ages and the figures acting here, but also the political, economic and cultural developments in it.
