Author Kay Cooke is an NLP Master Trainer with an international reputation as an expert on using play, creativity and NLP to support family relationships. Working directly with people from all over the world, she also runs training programs and writes prolifically. Kay is dedicated to nurturing a flourishing future for all.
Jez Discovers Mind Magic is the first book in the NLP for Kids : Magical Mindy Series, where our superhero teaches mind-magic skills that help key characters navigate turbulent times.
These carefully crafted children’s stories, draw from real-life challenges that Kay has helped families overcome.
In this story, a boy called Jez learns how to master his wayward thoughts that were stopping him doing new things.
NLP strategies are simple, clear and very, very effective – all delivered through rhyme and imagery that speaks to the subconscious processes.
Praise for the Magical Mindy series:
"These books are a perfect example of NLP in action.
Story telling has been since the beginning of time, a way to educate and entertain.
Stories entertain the conscious mind and teach and train the unconscious processes.
NLP is about doing this elegantly and precisely.
What Kay Cooke has done is both… I say well done!!"
Dr. Richard Bandler (co-founder of NLP)
I created my own Spaceship in my mind to overcome my fears!
Mauricio (9 years old)
These books are about the magic of the mind and there are few people as well qualified as Kay to write about it.
The magic of the mind lies in the deep unconscious and this book will guide the child and the parent and no doubt the grandparents, on a magical mystery tour. Fun for everybody!

As a social worker specialising in mental health, I see that we need to break the negative intergenerational thinking that limits our children and their aspirations.
Children do not need to take on the unhelpful thinking and coping patterns of the generation before. These stories plant seeds of hope that things can be different and better.

Jez discovers Mind Magic is a very powerful potion result of years of training, personal development, amazing creativity, and the marvellous touch of simplicity.
Kids of all ages will benefit from easy-to-follow brain techniques to overcome daily struggles and build a strong self-trust.
The world of today needs this sparkle of light!

Kay’s clever use of words are aimed directly at the unconscious mind along with wonderful illustrations. It’s the subtle use of colours, words and pictures that are key to the magic happening when you read this book.
This is fabulous Kay, thank you.

Store description
In 2002, World of Books Group was founded on an ethos to do good, protect the planet and support charities by enabling more goods to be reused. Since then, we've grown into to a global company pioneering the circular economy. Today, we drive the circular economy through three re-commerce brands: - Wob: Through Wob, we sell. We provide affordable, preloved books and media to customers all over the world. A book leaves our collection of over seven million titles and begins a new chapter every two seconds, enabling more goods to be reused. - Ziffit: Through Ziffit, we buy. We give people around the world the opportunity to contribute to the circular economy, earn money and protect the planet, by trading their unwanted books and media. - Shopiago: Through Shopiago, we help others. By sharing the technology that has grown World of Books Group into the business it is today, we’re helping charities increase revenue and reduce waste through re-commerce.…
