nach der Bestellung gedruckt Neuware - Printed after ordering - With stories about his own experience growing up and living as a leader of the Mountain Jews of Azerbaijan, Milikh Yevdayev introduces a whole new Jewish world, and one that is very old. Jewish life in Azerbaijan is unique. In a majority-Muslim nation that is a model for religious and cultural tolerance, Jewish communities participate, lead and contribute to the most productive and successful society within multiple regions. From the capital city of Baku to his hometown in the all-Jewish Red Village, Milikh Yevdayev shares stories of his homeland and shines light on what life is really like for a Mountain Jew. These stories were originally published by the Jewish Journal of Los Angeles.
