Good Friday? Covered. Easter Sunday? Covered. The weekend in between — when a dead man was supposedly just lying in a tomb? Silence.
But the oldest creeds in Christianity say something far stranger happened in that gap. They say He didn't rest. They say He went down — into the realm of the dead — and raided it. That He walked into the one place built to keep everyone in, faced the thing that had been collecting human souls since the beginning of the world, and walked back out holding its keys.
That's not a typo. That's the actual claim. And almost no one talks about it.
