Immediate dispatch from Somerset. Nice book in great condition. Pages in excellent condition. No notes or highlighting. See images. Fantastic book. About the book >.>.> In my mid-twenties I attended a party where a palm-reader was circulating in the crowd. She came up to me at one point, read my palm, and probably told me many things, but I re- member hearing only one: that I would marry at age thirty- two. Furthermore, I would marry someone who had been a friend for a long time. I wouldn't normally visit a palm-reader or put much stock in such predictions, but all of us like hearing of a future that suits us. So I tucked this information about my future mar- riage away in my head and, without being completely con- scious of it, put many parts of my life on hold. I knew they would come to life, magically, when I turned thirty-two. (LL).
