Item description from seller

53p., b&w reproductions throughout, nicely done, softbound in 11x6.5 inch lime-green wraps, a clean sound unmarked copy. India was at this time "the wealthiest Muslim nation on earth" and artists could be hired by the gross. Massive Jesuit building projects "required legions of artists. When European travelers entered the palaces and tombs of the Mughal emperors of India between 1580 and 1630, they were astonished to find the walls covered with Italian Renaissance-style murals depicting Christ.".
