Book Description Zürich: Daimon Verlag, 1986. Gebundene Ausgabe. Book Condition: Sehr gut. 369 Seiten. Leinenband mit illustriertem Schutzumschlag in sehr gutem, ungenutztem Zustand. - The Ninth Congress of the International Association for Analytical Psychology was held at the Jerusalem Hilton Hotel from March 15-22,1983. The theme, The Differing Uses of Symbolic and Clinical Approaches in Practice and Theory, drew twenty-five major papers, which were presented to an assembly of hundreds of Jungion analysts from around the world. All of the papers read at the Jerusalem Congress are included in this volume in their entirety. The provocative subject drew statements of position from proponents of the more symbolic aspects of therapy, others primarily concerned with clinical aspects, and a great number who addressed the very polorities inherent in analytical work. The different approaches voried as widely as the origins and personalities of the contributors and this provided fertile ground for much lively debate. One of Jung's most basic tenets was that every therapist mustfind his or herown individual way of working; along with certd-in points of common agreement, each analyst will also haue a unique personal attitude in any given situation. The relationships between symbolic and clinical aspects of psychological work arise in every analyst's experience, initially early an in training. Witte increased experience and knowledge, new aspects surface, adaptations are developed, and the analyst gradually finds his or her own individual approach. The papers presented in this volume reveal much self-questioning an the part of contemporaryJungian analysts. Just as the Congress served to bring each participant to reflect an the meaning and significance of his or her own work, and to be aware of motivations for dealing with the psyche in a particular way, so may this volume stimulate the individual reader. A complete listing of the twenty-five papers and their authors is provided an the back flap. (Klappentext) Sprache: Deutsch Gewicht in Gramm: 700. Bookseller Inventory # 6066
