Synopsis:

"It was just after I had run the eye down the Births and Marriages that I happened to look at the Engagements, and a moment later I was shooting out of my chair as if a spike had come through its cushioned seat and penetrated the fleshy parts. 'Jeeves!' I yelled, and then remembered that he had long gone with the wind...." Bertie Wooster is puzzled; he has no recollection of Roberta Wickham ever accepting his marriage proposal. He knows that it will take every last drop of the daredevil Wooster spirit to survive a weekend without Jeeves at Aunt Dahlia's rural lair. But why is an internationally renowned brain specialist masquerading as a butler named Swordfish?
