Celle qui dit je, c'est Ang�le Videau, soeur d'Arielle, fille d'Armelle et du p�re, une apparition dans ce roman de femmes. Des femmes sur trois g�n�rations, de Man� � Armelle, d'Armelle � Ang�le. Trois g�n�rations, pas une de plus.

On rencontre Ang�le dans la salle d'attente d'un cabinet m�dical, les mains pos�es sur un ventre qu'elle a gonfl� d'esp�rance. Alors que se d�ploie sous ses yeux le ballet des futures m�res, des jeunes enfants et de celles qui les ont enfant�s, Ang�le s'adresse � �ric. Ce prince �ric qu'elle d�sire de toutes ses forces et porte en elle, elle tente de l'apprivoiser. L'occasion de convoquer les r�ves, les souvenirs et de combler les places laiss�es vides.
Pourquoi les d�samours et � quel point le manque ? A-t-on rat� sa vie quand on ne la donne pas ? Il y a les questions, toutes les questions d'Ang�le et qui demeurent sans r�ponse.
Car J'attends, c'est la sensation d'une carence; le coeur bat en sourdine, la laideur, celle qui ne s'alt�re pas finit par saisir d'effroi, le corps est sec et, si l'on n'y prend garde, bient�t, dans cette famille qui s'amenuise comme une peau de chagrin, les morts auront supplant� les vivants.
Ang�le aimerait �tre moins lucide mais pour �ric, elle a tout d�ball�. Un regard sans filtre, quasi clinique, qu'elle offre sur les siens et sur elle-m�me et qui r�v�le, dans une violence contenue et dans le sang, parfois, les secrets, les envies, les pens�es honteuses, tout ce qu'on n'a pas su et pas pu dire.

J'attends est un roman qui, � travers le point de vue d'une jeune femme et les br�ves d'existence de celles qu'elle raconte, les anecdotes, le quotidien, r�ussit � approcher l'universel: la maternit�, la f�minit�, le lien du sang et la mort.

If you are a consumer you can withdraw from the contract in accordance with the following. Consumer means any natural person who is acting for purposes which are outside his trade, business, craft or profession.

Statutory right to withdraw

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the last good or the last lot or piece.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, electronically fill in and submit a clear statement on our website, under "My Purchases" in "My Account". We will communicate to you an acknowledgement of receipt of such a withdrawal on a durable medium (e.g. by e-mail) without delay.

Effects of withdrawal
