Paperback. Jasper, the grey squirrel born in Giants Grove, Ireland, had an extraordinary upbringing surrounded by nature. He became a beloved figure among children, who visited him regularly, bringing joy and laughter to his forest home. One day, Emily, a young girl who had once offered him a cupcake, returned as a young woman, longing to reconnect with her childhood friend. Together, they embarked on an adventure in Dublin, where Jasper discovered a fragment of the legendary Book of Kells hidden in Trinity College's library. Recognizing its significance, Jasper and Emily entrusted the fragment to the National Museum of Ireland, becoming symbols of unexpected heroes and the preservation of history. Jasper forms an unlikely friendship with Max, a rowdy greyhound, in the Irish countryside. They engage in spirited games and laughter, spreading joy to the creatures around them. Eventually, Max's love for racing leads him to America, where he becomes a legend on the racing scene. Meanwhile, Jasper embarks on a grand journey to North Carolina, where he explores the diverse landscapes and touches the lives of those he encounters. Years later, in the Great Smoky Mountains, Jasper reunites with Max, and together they embark on a new adventure. Their bond and shared love for adventure continue to inspire others.
