Jane Withers and her friends, Jeanne and Greta, begin their vacation on an old shipwreck partially submerged in Lake Superior. Greta soon meets the mysterious violinist, who has lived as a hermit for a year, but now Greta must discover his secret. Jeanna runs away for a time with her gypsy friends and their dancing bear.
