Small paperback, stapled binding. 12 × 8cm, 128pp. An abridged paperback pocket edition of Jane Eyre, illustrated a little in the style of pulp fiction. This copy was published as part of the Quick Reader series which, for 10c, condensed the classics into little portable pocket-sized paperbacks. Condition: A fairly good copy, the paper is a little brittle and tanned, with a few pages having marginal creasing or a little loss (not affecting text), and with light creasing to the cover's edges but overall an attractive little book.
