About the Author: Jan Hendrix is a Dutch-born, Mexico-based artist, who works in a number of mediums. Over the last 10 years Hendrix has focused on the first gathering of plants at Kamay Botany Bay by Joseph Banks, Daniel Solander and Sydney Parkinson; part of the Endeavour expedition of 1770, 250 years ago.
