Approx. 8 ¼ in. x 10 ½ in. 50 pages, about evenly divided between Kerouac and his work and the Christie organization. Stiff, glossy, illustrated wrappers, the front showing a photo of Joyce and part of the manuscript. This is a descriptive brochure of one of the items offered for sale at an auction: Kerouac's famous manuscript with corrections, deletions, and additions shown, typed on rolls of toilet paper taped together and extending 120 feet. Paperback. 318p., the usual high-end format from this auction house, profusely illustrated with exhibit and collectable photographs (in color), a humdinger of a catalogue, Christie's top dollar bought a lot of book. The Kerouac item is talked up extensively, given six pages of photos plus a color frontispiece of the scroll unrolled like a Star Wars titling.
