Paperback. Eighty percent of Americans can't afford the justice system they're told to trust. When an insurer denies a claim, a landlord keeps a deposit, or a marriage unravels, the remedy routinely costs more than the wrong itself - so most people simply walk away.JUST-US is the blueprint for closing that gap. Drawing on three decades of dispute-resolution science and the pioneering work of the late Dr. Ted Becker, mediators David W. Puckett and Stanley Zamor introduce TeDR(TM) - Technology-Enhanced Dispute Resolution - a system that unites artificial intelligence, emotional intelligence, and eNegotiation to settle disputes in days, at a fraction of the cost, with the parties in control.Part manifesto and part working roadmap, JUST-US shows how technology can serve people instead of the other way around: resolving disputes in days rather than years, for a fraction of the cost of going to court, with a practical path courts and lawyers can adopt today. The technology exists. The models are proven. What's left is the will to use them - together. 80% of Americans can't afford the courts they're told to trust. JUST-US introduces TeDR(TM) Technology-Enhanced Dispute Resolution - uniting AI, EQ, and eNegotiation to resolve civil disputes in days, not years, at a fraction of the cost. Uber didn't ask the taxi commissions. Airbnb didn't ask the hotels.
Both went straight to consumers with a smartphone and a better answer. This book says dispute resolution is next.
Ninety-two percent of low-income Americans who face a civil legal problem get no meaningful help. The system built to resolve our disputes has become too slow, too expensive, and too hostile to serve the people it was made for. JUST-US: Justice for the Rest of Us does what critiques rarely do — it delivers a working alternative.
Across thirty-one chapters, David W. Puckett and Stanley Zamor unveil TeDR™ (Technology-Enhanced Dispute Resolution) — a methodology refined over thirteen years and protected by three patent filings.
Inside this book
- The 11-step eNegotiation recipe that redefines electronic negotiation — unlike anything in the marketplace

- A legislative blueprint: ninety days to try before the courthouse door opens
- Companion videos — chapters marked with a play symbol include a free video summary. Read it, or watch it.
"A quantum leap in the field of conflict resolution — the beginning of a new era in global conflict resolution." — Dr. Ted Becker, ADR pioneer
