Night × Rain × Tokyo
An invitation to the fantasy world of the city.
This is the debut commercial collection by a talented photographer who continues to capture rain-soaked nights in Tokyo. Carefully curated from hundreds of thousands of photographs, this volume presents approximately 140 images of the city’s nightscapes, skillfully capturing reflections on wet streets, falling raindrops, and glowing neon lights from a singular and evocative point of view.
More than half of the photographs included have never been published on social media, making this a highly anticipated release for longtime fans and newcomers alike. The book also features an interview at the end with the photographer’s close friend, Liam Wong.
Liam Wong’s Endorsement
“JUNYA is super interesting because he knows so much about the city of Tokyo. And yet he has an exciting perspective that others don’t have.”
Contents
Chapter 1: Night Lights on Water
Chapter 2: Thousand Night Labyrinth
Chapter 3: In Praise of Shadows
Chapter 4: Moments of Solitude
