Original Cloth. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Fair. 1st Edition. Two items, both warmly inscribed by John Gielgud to Rosamond Gilder. The first contains Gielgud's own account: "The Hamlet Tradition, Some Notes on Costume Scenery, and Stage Business" (pp. 111-171) and is the first British Edition, VG, the dust jacket chipped and repaired and lacking more than half of the spine paper. Images of the actor are on the upper cover.
