This is the history of what eventually became known as the Christian and Missionary Alliance. It starts with Albert B. Simpson and his plan to bring churches back toward the divine plan of Spirit-filled living and evangelistic concern for people without God or hope. But after it fell short of broad response, Simpson found himself the leader of a missionary movement with an alliance of churches in the United States for support. "All for Jesus" is the most extensive and readable account the Christian and Missionary Alliance has ever published about itself. Included are photographs, footnotes, endnotes, a bibliography, and an index. This hardbound edition copy is clean and solid. A former owner's name is on the half-title. The endpapers are pictorial.
