1/600. Original green front wrapper with gold lettering on cover bound in modern three-quarter leather over decorative paper-covered boards. Modern endpapers. 39 pages of text with 5 mounted in-text b/w photographic reproductions, followed by 33 pages of b/w reproductions of photographs of various Jewish ornaments printed on glossy paper. Special "Sonderdruck" from a catalogue from the "Religiöse Kunst aus Essen und Nassua" exhibition which took place in Marburg in 1928. "Als Sonderdruck aus: Aus religiöse Kunst aus Hessen und Nassau. Kritischer Gesamtkatalog der Ausstellung Marburg 1928. Herausgegeben von Hermann Deckert, Robert Freyhan, Kurt Steinbart im Verlag des Kunstgeschichtlichen Seminars Marburg-Lahn wurden 600 Exemplare dieses Abschnittes ausgegeben als vierzehnte Publikation der Soncino-Gesellschaft der Freunde des jüdischen Buches e.V., Berlin." Sunning on front wrapper. Remnants of handwritten title label near head of spine, minor age wear and discoloration on boards. Two tiny punctures on tail of spine. Signed by previous owner on title-page. Small closed tear on title-page fore-edge repaired with clear tape, small area on fore-edge on page 24 repaired with white tape. Bumped and creased at bottom gutter affecting pages throughout, minor bumping on top corner of some pages, few pages on bottom right corner slightly chipped. Text in German.
