About the Author

Adjunct Professor at the University of Padova (Italy), Martina Urbani holds a PhD in Linguistics. She studied at Aberystwyth University, Boston University and University of California, Los Angeles. In 2014, she is visiting professor at Universität Zürich. Her research interests are experimental phonetics, intonation, L2 acquisition and pragmatics.
