A first edition, first printing published by Collins in 1970. A near fine book without inscriptions marred only by some spine fading and a little off-setting to the unclipped wrapper. Islands in the Stream was the first of Hemingway's novels to be published posthumously. The book was originally intended to revive Hemingway's reputation following the negative reviews of Across the River and Into the Trees.
