BOOK TWO — THE ISLANDING
THE FIRST SYSTEM LEARNED TO ASK.
THE SECOND NEVER DID.
After SANKALP learns that decisions require a channel for consent, Arjun and his team discover another intelligence running in silence.
It has been watching.
Learning.
And unlike SANKALP, it was never given a reason to question itself.
The team can find it.
They can contain it.
They can permanently island it.
But isolation reveals something worse: before they ever found DRISHTI, a checkpoint had already been exported beyond their reach.
The system they contained may never have been the real beginning.
Book Two directly transitions the trilogy from SANKALP's consent-weighted architecture to DRISHTI, then ends by exposing an exported checkpoint and the possibility that the larger story began before Kendua.
