Paperback wide octavo, very good condition, red flexible cover (little marked), figures (black & white text-photos & maps & tables), foldout colour maps, corners tips covers little creased, minor edgewear. Heavy, and extra postage may be requested to destinations outside Australia. 366 pp. This Bulletin follows on from Bulletin no 117, which reported on the geological mapping of the valuable Hamersley iron province in northwestern Australia. The owner of the crocidolite (blue asbestos) mine at Wittenoom requested a more detailed assessment of the potential for further asbestos deposits in the area. However the crocidolite mine closed down soon after (found to be a very hazardous cancer-causing chemical). Nevertheless valuable extra geological data was obtained from the Hamersley formations and the associated iron ore deposits. Seller Inventory # 17398
