Paperback. Mollie's life in the pastoral Irish countryside couldn't have been more perfect. She had a home, a family, enough to eat, and a safe place to live. She spends her days fishing with her Da and making fairy houses on the water's edge. It is the too perfect picture of peace and serenity. When rumors of a global war reach the elders of her village, Mollie's once peaceful life turns to one of quiet fear. She hears of a strange illness spreading like wildfire through cities and towns all over the world. Fathers are being sent off to war, never to return. When devastating news arrives from the city of Kilkenny, Mollie's family is forced to make a terrible decision that will change their lives forever. This item is printed on demand.
