This is a book which focuses on the stockmarket, though it also covers unit trusts, life assurance and other indirect investment media. I have added a completely new section on Capital Gains Tax, since this was radically altered by the 1982 Finance Act. And I have compiled a glossary of investment terms which not only supplement the text but acts as a source of cross reference. The latest edition has been revised to reflect the investment events since then, notably the tax changes of the 1984 Budget. Nonetheless, the framework of the book is basically the 'Beginners Guide' Tiny slight crease to corner back cover.
