Many of tlzem are full of fac-similes bearing tbe marbs of minute and conscientious care; but tbey are in foreign languages, and are seldom found in our largest American libraries. Tbere are, it is true, a few boobs in E nglisle on early printing wbicb leave accurate fac similes; but bigli prices and limited editions put tlzem out of tlie reaclt of tlze ordinary boob-buyer. Tltey were written by and for librarians only.
