An Introductory Guide to Quantitative Data Analysis and Interpretation using SPSS 30 is a comprehensive guide to quantitative analysis. It integrates knowledge of research methods, data analysis, and report writing includes exploring data, data preparation, and data analysis.
This textbook provides readers with fundamental knowledge about quantitative data analysis through a sample of research objectives, step-by-step guidance in generating SPSS outputs, hypothesis testing, and interpreting the analysis outputs. It focuses on frequently used descriptive, bivariate, and multivariate analyses, and discusses the assumptions and requirements for these methods. Using SPSS version 30 and also providing a complete case study, this book will help readers to get a big picture of how to get the collected data ready and complete further analysis. This is followed by a step-by-step guide to interpreting the outputs to match research objectives or hypothesis testing. This guide will be an essential companion for beginner or university students who are learning quantitative data analysis using SPSS software and/or doing their research project. It will also be beneficial to professionals and researchers who want to revive their quantitative data analysis and format their academic papers to maintain clarity and professionalism in scientific writing using APA format.
