Item description from seller
Regional planning is a multi-disciplinary approach that aims at holistic development of specific geographical areas. It operates with the core objective of harmonizing human activities with nature s inherent plans. This involves optimizing resource utilization, boosting economic opportunities, ensuring societal well-being, and preserving the environment. Despite some existing literature on regional planning, a significant gap remains in terms of a systematic teaching approach. Recognizing this, this new book has been tailored for college students. The writing style is deliberately simple and direct, intending to demystify regional planning principles. By addressing this gap in instructional material, the book aims to empower students to not only grasp the complexities of regional planning but also apply these principles effectively in practical contexts.
