The author focuses on minimising the mathematics needed to grasp the subject while providing a solid theoretical foundation for the student. Emphasis is also placed on the practical aspects of radio engineering. The book provides a broad coverage of RF systems, circuit design, antennas, propagation and digital techniques. It will provide an excellent introduction to the subject for graduate students, researchers and practising engineers.

About the Author:

Dr Chris Coleman is an Associate Professor of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at The University of Adelaide. He has held research posts at Imperial College, London and the University College of Wales, and faculty positions at the University of Nottingham, UK, and the University of Wollongong, Australia. He is a member of The Centre for High Performance Integrated Technologies & Systems at Adelaide, and a member of the IEEE.
