A beautiful 1983 hardcover copy of Introduction to Physical System Dynamics by Ronald C. Rosenberg and Dean C. Karnopp, published by McGraw-Hill as part of the McGraw-Hill Series in Mechanical Engineering. This is a specialized engineering text dealing with the modeling and analysis of physical dynamic systems. Rosenberg and Karnopp's work is particularly associated with system dynamics and bond-graph modeling, an approach for representing the behavior and energy relationships of complex physical systems. The book has continued to appear as a reference in subsequent technical literature on physical-system modeling and engineering dynamics. A particularly attractive copy for a mechanical engineer, systems engineer, or collector of classic engineering texts. The book is also of interest from the history-of-engineering perspective, representing the development of systematic methods for modeling complex physical systems before the widespread adoption of modern computer-based simulation tools. Condition: Like New book in exceptionally clean condition. The covers and pages are essentially as new, with no writing, highlighting, underlining, or ex libris. The original dust jacket is in Very Good condition, with some minor wear from handling. Please see photographs for details.…
